ha, wow someone's a little too obsessed with this place... but mine was a trojan virus, and there's one file i can't seem to delete, but i'll be alright

Sk8 thats the host file. You need to start the comp up in Safe Mode and delete it.

i ran a bunch of virus software hoping it wasn't my comp.  I was wanting my forum fix too.  prolly some guy we pissed off in the past.

how does someone plant a virus on a forum? remeber just before it crashed someone posted links for some video in all the vehicle forums?

Real easy. When you enter a website, you download the template of it in the browser cache, all you need to do is include a .exe file in the site, and as soon as you visit it, it downloads it as part of the site, and gets stored.

so someone had to have had accessed the server the master of this is on then right? i havent done anything with computer programming since the late 90's i still have disks with AOL bots so i am in the dark about this kinda stuff

my comp wouldnt let me navigate when i had it on the MF site, but it worked fine for others

So we all know that the supercharged engines need the intake bypass valve so they work in reverse. Otherwise the supercharger would just suck all the air out of the cylinder

Even for just a lurker like me, I'm glad it is back up.  Had some technical questions I had to ask the Shucks guy for answers on a code, got about 10 answers and took a guess instead.  It would have been nice to have the brains of the forum on it.  Trying the car tonight and we'll see if it was the right part.
