OK so could not find what iwas looking for so I started a new thread, can someone tell me what the size of the crankshaft bolt is, so I can go buy the socket.  Any other special tools I need? as I dont have all my tools so I only have like up to a 19mm socket.  I thought I read it was 1 1/16" but not sure. Also how do you find TDC as it doesnt have a distributer? I didnt see one to buy so assumed it does not have one.  Haven been under the hood much yet, but need to replace girlfirends timing belt.  Do I need to remove spark plugs to change the timing belt?  I assume to be able to turn crank I would, but I still dont understand how to find TDC with just taking plugs out. I didnt get my wires yet and dont want to have to remove the spark plugs without them as I see it is a PITA so I guess I will just have to wait.
Also I only bought the belt and water pump.  Should have I bought a tensioner and whatever else.  Please help.
Montero newb
Thanks.

I can't answer all of your questions, I had mine done. You won't need to remove the spark plugs to change the T-belt, different areas completely. I understand there is a "special" tool needed for the crank bolt...to keep it from turning while you tighten the bolt. Change the tensioner (for sure) and other 2 drive belts (if needed) while you are in there. Have a look at the cam/crank seals too, they could need replaced if they are leaking.

Hope this helps, sorry I don't have more detailed info. Someone else may chime in.
