I was hoping for a little less work. Do you know what the code p1751 was for . It was not listed  on code pages no 1700s at all. Will a repair manual from auto zone be a good enough source to look up and follow instructions to repair. I am not a tech but do most of my own repairs. Had to change fuel pump on my explorer a few months back ,, still runs so guess i did ok. Will this be same pain in rear with skid covers I sure hope not . well i will start looking for the part . May still get a few more suggestions.   thanks any tips will help. I havent had to do any work on the mits yet so I cant complain. I will also tune up and change vac lines while I have intake off. thanks again,,,

its not the fuel pump itself, just the control module for it.

I took apart intake and cleaned  it I had no idea it could get so filthy. Also cleaned and chacked all vac lines , found some loaded with gum . Used an entire can of cleaner put back together and ran engine . found a fouled plug. car runs now no stall . Plan to clean injecters this weekend.    Thanks for tips   I found an old tip on cleaning the air intake , was a good tip...
