actually i just got my comp back today. i had a local comp shop recover all the files and completely wipe the rest of the computer clean. they re-installed the OS and all is good. i also have a 500g external hard drive that i now have all my files backed up on. so now that i''ve got it back i''ll be on the forum more often again

haha i''m really glad to finally have a runnin laptop again. but it still cost me $150 to get it fixed... i guess thats better than a new laptop all together
