2g eclipse n/t upgrade questions???

I have a 2nd gen eclipse 1995 to be exact in beautiful condition that i got for dirt cheap because of the crappy paint job it had, anyway what would be the best way to turbocharge this car without having to get rid of it and to be the cheapest rout,if it involves alot of manual labor i am down with that. Next question is,are the 2g's eclipse's safe to run nos and if it is what kind and what are the ups and downs of it???? Last question is,is this engine a 4g64 or 4g63 and there is a race coming up and it asys that its for 1g 2g and 3g eclipse's but only the 4g63 can race so i am confused if someone can help thanx alot and keep me posted...........Josh

well if you have an non turbocharged motor, i would just get a turbocharged eclipse block, but if you dont have the money for that just get forged pistons and rods, etc for it. i hear eagles are good to use. umm what is it a gs, rs, or gs spyder = 4g64, 420a?? ok the gs spyder has the 4g63 engine and the rs has the 420A etc heres the website

Its a 95 eclipse gs i think the 4g64 if i am not mistaken......

you have a 420A. you have to change alot of stuff to turbo a car. it will cost more then just buying a trubo car already. you dont want nos in your car, its not that big of a hp gain and the wear on your car is just not worth it. it will cost you alot of time and money to turo that car.
