Alright so I''ve been driving my spivic for quite a while now. And just really bored and need a new toy to tinker with. And im having trouble finding something that catches my attention. So im just looking for suggestions. And as for price, the cheaper the car,the more I can put into it

Idk I was thinking about that, can pick up a 98 gst for a grand, needs a motor tho. But im wondering how much power I can get before loosing that lil bit of traction the car has. And they break all day long so they''re a pain the a$$

why buy another mistake. you did it once already why do the same thing again?? How much do you want to spend? you can get a pretty nice turbo MR2 for like $4-$5k. you can also get a turbo MKIII supra in that range and have nice potencial. If you must stay mitsu and buy a cheap car then dont look into 2G. Go for a 1G. I mean a few $k and you can start with a nice GSX 1G with a good motor to start with rather than a 7bolt or non running 2G

FWD or RWD, what''s the difference. Traction will always be an issue unless you get expensive, stickier tires. I''ve had both and when the ground is wet, it''s no fun. And it really makes no sense to me to store a car for the winter. I like the 1G AWD idea. Inexpensive and has potential. As for the breaking comment, sure it will, but that''s why you buy new parts and not old parts, good parts and not cheap parts, save for an entire system and not piece it together and "test" it out, TUNE it right, don''t neglect it, etc. ;) Any car will break, the DSM is only viewed as a "breakable" car to many because kids crank up the PSI and think that''s it. How about an older Subie WRX, or a 4g63 swapped Mirage, or ...

Im in LOOOV with the old wrx =) its a nice car, and yeah agree with you john once again... no point in storing a car for winter.. even in snowy places... IMO a car that breaks down forces you to keep fixing it, as long as its not your DD is fun.... but expensive though...
