How diffilcult is it to change the top,driver side motor mount on my 1998 GST eclipse.The rubber is chewed up.

Depends what equipment you have. Engine hoist? Jack?

Its going to be hard. You need to put the jack under the engine, remove the mount bolts, raise it up a little.. and change it.

Is there anywhere I can buy the inserts and have them pressed in instead of replacing the entire mount?

Ok, thanks for your help! Do you know if any of the newer model''s(2004-2007) use the same mount? Maybe I can go to a junkyard and buy one that''s already off.

yea you can definitely get the new inserts put in, but if i were you i''d replace all four of ''em while it was up in the air, that way instead of having only one urethane piece and having it be all awkward it''d feel a lot better for you. besides you have to buy it all in a kit anyway lol
