2002 Lancer Transmission - 6/29/2008 1:10:45 PM

Hi I am new to this forum. So hi to everyone. My girlfriend has a 2002 lance ES with an automatic transmission. The transmission slips while shift from 2nd and 3rd. Anyone have any ideas what would cause this? Thanks in advance.

It could be a few things, did you get it scanned for codes?

I have not yet. I will try to see if that reveals anything. There is no check engine light on though. Thanks

Also check the basics, what is the fluid level at and what color and smell is the fluid?

Hi  Im new here as well My son has a 03 lancer oz needs a new cluch as well as trans do you have a how to archive here so I could get some Ideas and pictures to maybe do this job my self all help is appreciated thanks.

Thanks dsm1990gsx that sounds good but Im not real sure how to do it Im use to being on focus fanatics and they operate a little differant so Ill need a little help with that but thanks for info.

Sorry but I think I just figured it out anyway it not as much diff as I thought its just arranged a little differant but thanks for your info.
