OK, so I bought a slightly used ''07 Outlander LS with 11,000 miles on it from a nearby dealership. I understand that I won''t receive the 10 year, 100,000 mile powertrain warranty since I didn''t buy it new...but I should still get the 5 year, 60,000 mile bumper to bumper & powertrain warranties. Now, I''ve never owned a car new enough to receive a warranty. I received the warranty manual/booklet along with the Outtie, but should I be receiving something like a receipt or something to prove that it is warrantied or is it just implied? I plan on keeping all receipts for service work and whatnot, but I can''t prove that the work was done on it for its first 11,000 miles. Forgive my naivety in this matter. Has anyone else bought a used Outtie and fall into this situation? Thanks!
