Hey!! I have a problem with my car stalling on me. A few weeks ago I was driving and my check engine light came on, so I took it to Autozone an they checked it, the code was saying spark plug # 5. I waited a few days, didn''t drive the car much then I had all 6 of the spark plugs changed out. On the way to taking the car to get done it kept stalling on me when I would come to a stop. When I would break the car would idle low then stall. After changing the plugs, the mechanic put everything back together the check engine light came back on with another code reading fuel injector #3. He took everything off of the intake and looked over the fuel injector but it seemed fine. But now when I start my car it will start fine but when it sits and idles its really shakey and it stalls after a few seconds. HELPPPP PLEASE!!!

Thanks!

Hello Amanda

Have you figured out your problem yet? I have had my Spyder now for 8 months and the same thing has happened to me at least 3 times. First time I took it to the Mits dealer and they told me it was a vaccume leak. The second time it happened I took it to a mechanic friend of mine who found a screw fell out. The last time which was about 2 weeks ago he hooked to the vehicle and found that # 1 plug was not firing but I just put in new plugs and wires ....... I suspect that the daytimer running lights (I am in Canada and need them on and there was a wire that wrapped around the # 1 plug wire that turned them on) may have been the problem. I did start a thread when my started happening that you may want to read.

Good luck
