im just new with these forums, i just want to know if i theres an available cold air intake for my car, my car is an 08 eclipse gs, 2.4l, i really dont know much about car parts so im just trying to research this stuff on the web, is it possible to use an 07 eclipse intake system for my car, or it has to be specific with the yr. thanks!

I believe 06 and up 2.4l parts should be the same as your 08.

so does that mean that i can buy an 06 cold air intake and install it on my car? any suggestions on what brand is the best and it has to be specific w/ regards to transmission (mt or at) and engine size right? (4 cylinder vs. v6) any websites too that u might wanna recommend that i check! thanks!

forget about the years... usually they sell it by generations and every generation has 2 or 3 different engines... yours is a 4th gen cuz its 06 up, just make sure you find one thats made for your specific engine 2.4l =)... anyone knows if theres only one engine avaible for the 4th? if theres only one any will fit

It also comes in a v-6.
