Hey guys, I''m new to Mitsubishi''s and am looking at a 2003 Eclipse GTS for sale with a 5 speed and 71k miles. I previously owned a 1998 Ford Escort ZX2 and am wondering how reliable these cars are, and just some beginner info about them. Thanks for the help.

Welcome and what engine does it have, also is it stick or auto. Just make sure there are service records avalible.

it has a 5 speed manual and the 3 L V6

the GTS is the 6g72 V6. They are reliable in stock power levels. If you want to turbo or N2o or supercharge it the pistons are sucky and only can handle like 6psi before the motor goes pop

I didn''t that well now I do. I thought gt''s were only v-6''s.
