I bought and used the Thule Snowcat carrier for skis and boards last season. Worked great! Its a two-in-one system. So you dont have to buy crossbars and the rack, just that piece. I would recommend if all you need it for is ski/boards, but not if you want it to be able to cary other loads or attachments.

I paid $180 at my local retailer. Here are some pics: http://www.mitsubishiforum.com/m_192215/tm.htm

I am using the Yakima Lowrider Kit on my 07'' ($150 for rail mounts + $25 for locks + $65 for Rails + 65 for the Fairing) may also want to consider picking up the Wind Jammer. I ended up removing the wind deflector from my sunroof when I added this as the wind flow got weird after I added the rails. Got an extremely high pitch whistle when the sunroof was open.

I love the look of the 08'' OEM rails but the price just seems silly.

Yakima and Thule are compatible with almost everything out there. Personally i like the Yakima rails better since there round instead of square.
