Ok i have a 1992 VR4. I just replaced the clutch, spark plugs, wires, fuel filter and all the fluids. Now after i replaced everything when i go to accelerate it starts cutting out at about 2900 rpm. Then it cuts out for a second, but after about 3500 rpm it doesnt do it, until i shift and it gets back at 2900 rpm. Any suggestions as to what it could be?

I had the same problem with my VR4. You might want to check the BOV and any air intake, intercooler holes for leaks.

easy way I checked was spray all the possible area''s of leaks with choke cleaner.  engine will change speeds when leak is detected
BE CAREFUL..it''s flameable!

Thats a dumb ****ing idea.

Google ''boost leak tester'' and that should tell you everything you need to know

I guess your talking to me?  Nice guy!  I used to work on imports for years, and I found many a leak this way.  The guy asked for an idea.... didn''t know I would get such a "nice" reply from someone whom didn''t even ask the question.

I will be more careful in posting from now on... if ever.  gezz.. some people just can''t help being a rude when posting online.

If this is the kind of people that own 3000GT''s... I think I will rethink "joining the club" by purchasing one.

I side with you BrianWSNC. You gotta have thicker skin with some of these older members. Just have to remember they are old.

John1006 Im glad the advise worked for you.

Thanks for siding with me Reggie.  As for age, one would hope an older person would become wiser and more accepting of other people''s oppinion, being they have seen more in their life.

By the way, I am 53.  just three years past the half way mark!
