Aiight yall.......maybe i should have posted this thread before, but i have just bought this 2001 eclipse GT, black on black, manual tranny, 39,500 miles on it. Only weekend driven, washed and waxed, babied, garaged, the whole deal. I'm new to mitsu's (more familiar with volvos and their high priced parts and service), so i was wondering if any of yall can give me any advice on maintenance for my eclipse. Basically, at what intervals do i need to service, when do i need to perform major tune-up, and HOW EXPENSIVE. I've dealt with my 1993 Volvo 850 for 6 years, and i've had to pay thru the nose for most of my services every 10,000 miles/ I have to change the brakes at this point, so im covering that, but anything else i need to do at this point? I just had the oil changed, and the mechanic said that at this point, everything is fine, other than the brakes, which are low. The car has currently 40,026 miles on it. If there are any websites with this info, i would really appreciate it. Thanx, carl.
