are you saying rewiere the fuel pump to get more boost out of the stock turbo?  and if so how do i do that?

Lol no not more boost, all it is, you get battery votage right at the fuel pump.

Go to www.vfaq.com and look under fuel and you''ll find a write up for 2g''s.

louder as in imagine air rushing through "sound deadening" rubber as opposed to air rushing through solid resonating metal

I have the complete Metal Side mount intercooler piping with a Greddy Type RS BOV. Unlike the plastic and rubber stock piping the metal is the same size from turbo to TB. I got them from RRE http://www.roadraceengineering.com/eclintake.htm (towards the bottom) you will need to get both top parts and the lower s-pipe along with 4 high quality couplers. Also I don''t know if you have this done but you will have to get rid of the stock airbox for the new piping to fit.

Get a FMIC don''t waste your time even though it wont do **** with the stock turbo but it will give you reason to upgrade it haha

Yup, pressure loss is bad, no matter how muhc cooling the FMIC is doing.  It''s the reasoning behind short route piping and the reason why folks don''t get piping larger than 2.5 in diameter with anything smaller than a 50 trim turbo (although, some do).
Think of water pressure through a long hose (or lack thereof).
