im thinking about getting smic piping for my 98 gst. does it actaully improve any performance at all> lke even a few hp?. my stock bov is leaking at 13psi and wont push anymore bevause it all leaks out. im thinking about greddy smic piping. and im no sure what kind of bov to get for a decent price? any help will be apreciated. thanks

the side mount intercooler piping will make a difference. also, a greddy bov. i love mine! sounds awesome.

If you''re upgrading the piping and leaving the SMIC, then...
What you''re looking for is hard intercooler piping, upper and lower.  Well, you don''t have to get hard lower piping, but the upper is necessary since you need a new BOV.  Get the upper flanged for the 1G since you already have one and its flange.
Make sure the ends are beaded.  This will help with keeping the piping from popping off when more boost pressure is applied.

Use t bolt clamps and stay away from worm clamps too.

ok sounds good. im def goingto get the greddy fmic piping. how much boost can i push on the stock motor and stock turbo?

also i believe the piping will improve throttle responce a little, plus if your into noises then it makes your car a bit louder lol

are you saying rewiere the fuel pump to get more boost out of the stock turbo?  and if so how do i do that?
