I Have a 2000 eclipse GT. Battery light and brake light flicking on and off. I thought it could be a bad alternator so I replaced it. Problem did not go away.Lght stays on now and drains the battery. I beleave it is a groung short. Could someone that may have had this problem maybe tell me were it is coming from. I will have to chase wires otherwise which will be a pain in the ass. Can someone help me??????

i would start by checking the terminals on the battery. Alot of times they will get corroded and cause a bad connection and alot of times not allowing them to be charged by the alternator.
