I had been on other websites looking for recommendations on different waxes for my new Outlander.  I found a lot of them praising Eagle One''s Nanotech Spray Wax.  I ran out at lunch today and purchased a $6 bottle.  Let me tell you it is the best and easiest wax I have ever used.  The shine is great.  I could only do my hood at lunch but the reflection is fantastic.  I have an SE 4 cyl with the sun and sound package.  It is rally red.  I only have 1,900 miles on it so far, but I just love the thing.  I would love to hear other cleaning or maintenance tips you all have.

Pick up some Eagle 1 "Wipe and Shine" detailer spray, works great, I''ve been using it on all my cars for more than 5 years. The Eagle 1 Nano Protectant for Vinyl & Leather also works well on the dash.

Does the vinyl and leather protectant leave a shine?  What does it smell like?  That TW ICe Interior stuff smells terrible.  I did pick up some of the spray detailer it does work great.  Finished the whole outlander last night.  No effort.  Great shine.  Actually looking forward to a rain to see how the water beads.  Do you use their tire stuff too?  If not what do you recommend?

Eagle One has some very good products.  I use Meguiar''s NXT 2.0 on my outtie including the alloy wheels.  Its a polymer paint protectant that gives an unbelievable shine. For the dash and door trim I use Meguiar''s natural shine.  The best thing about the natural shine is it makes the dash and trim look great without that greasy shiny look or feel.

I was thinking about trying the NXT, but I heard if you get it on the black trim it is hard to get off.  I have found out the Nanotech Spray Wax can go on that stuff and not leave the white residue.

I used the NXT paste (also comes in liquid) and its no problem wiping it off the black trim, or rubber around the doors and it doesn''t leave a residue.  When applying it I keep a rag handy and if I accidently get some on the trim, I just wipe it off then.  BTW.  The NXT costs between $13 and $16 a can depending on where you buy it (Walmart is probably the cheapest), the natural shine is $5.99 a bottle.

Stefman I noticed from your profile you''re from Naperville.  I grew up in Joliet and still have a brother and sister living there.

The Eagle 1 Nano vinyl protectant leaves almost no shine and it doesn''t leave a smell in the car.

If you want absolutely no shine for the dash give Armor All Natural Finish a try.

Spray waxes are typically pretty bad durability wise, but are easy to reapply

I have a coat of Meguiar''s #21 (pro version of NXT) on there..looks great and still beads like crazy after 3 months

Hey All-

Haven''t been on in a while, but thought I''d write and say i used some Xymol wax the other day and it worked AMAZING on my ''08 diamond white outtie. The paint looks beautiful and EVERYHTING just flies off the surface. Hope this helps..
