oil plug removal? - 8/28/2008 1:21:13 PM    loserspearl   Posts: 11 Score: 0 Joined: 6/14/2007 Status: offline ok during my rebuild ive hit a snag, it calls for a special tools. i dont know if any of you have seen the engine teardown manuals on tearstone.com but i am using them along with 2 manuals i have. the part numbers on tearstone manuals is MD998783 oil plug socket MD998162 oil plug socket retainer Im trying to remove the very flat oil plug right behind the balance shaft gear. kinda star shaped, looks like a very flat gear I went to advance auto and they rarely ever really know much of what theyre talking about so they coudlnt help me, I need to know where i can get these two tools.
