Rear speakers for '02 - 7/23/2005 7:39:34 PM    quIEt05   Posts: 10 Joined: 7/23/2005 Status: offline Im having troble figuring out how to pop the rear stock speakers out to install after-market 6x9's, anybody know how to do this? Post #: 1

Just pull on that. The rear cushion will pull up. When you take that out you will find four bolts holding the top cushion up. Unbolt those and you will have access to the rear deck. So what kind of 6x9's did you get. Another problem you might have is there going to hit the tornsion bars for the trunk lid. You can either top mount the 6x9's or somehow raise them with a spacer. If your lucky you have some real slim fitting 6x9's and don't have to worry about it. (in reply to quIEt05) Post #: 7

RE: Rear speakers for '02 - 7/31/2005 5:51:58 PM    quIEt05   Posts: 10 Joined: 7/23/2005 Status: offline alright i ran into a problem... i bought a wiring harness for my speakers, and when i unplugged the stock speakers the plug that plugged into them doe not fit, do i need to cut that off and splice it into the new speaker wires and just forget about the harness?
