1999 eclipse spyder 2.4L automatic

I''''ve been making my way through a problem with my tranny and it seems as though the TCM / TCU is the culprit.  Testing has revealed that it is not putting out the right voltage/signals at the right times.

Now my dilemna is knowing which TCM / TCU I can replace it with if I go to the junk yard.

I assume my transmission is a f4a23 automatic transmission.  Do I need to find the exact same one to swap the TCM / TCU from?  Can one from a galant or other car work?

There aren''''t a whole lot of numbers on this thing but here they are if anyone has a way to reference them.  They appear on a lable as such:

ELC64SMFNASKJ
MR430995
G1T16381E1
8X27
