I have got a 2000 GT automatic. Recently it has been shaking at around 37 mph, in fourth gear and pressing on the accelerator lightly, going uphill or level road. The shaking goes away if I take over manual control and down shift to third gear or if I accellerate more. Seems like the logic to down shift is not working quite right. I am running premium gas if that helps. Also, there is no "check engine" light or anything like that. The air filter is ok and i have done an oil change already.

Thanks for your response. Where is the fuel filter for the Eclipse? I tried locating it using the service manual but could not find it.
