I have 35,000 miles on my 2008 Lancer and the Rotors I think is already warped

The car is starting to shake When Braking on 80 mph ONLY.

Lower speed the braking is still good except if I go beyond 75 mph the steering will start to shake when Braking abruptly.

My old car the 1999 Mitsu Mirage. I never had any problems with my Rotors and pads before I changed was totally gone it was grinding already but no shaking of the steering wheel.

I am not sure the 2008 Rotors for Mitsubishi Lancer are good but my car is starting to shake at 35,000 miles

a truely warped rotor you would feel at all speeds.

pull the rotors off and lay them on a very flat/smooth surface. (sheet of glass).

if warped you will see it.

while you have the front jacked up (before you remove the wheels) grab each wheel and try to "shake" it.  you may discover a loose or worn front end part.

I did that already they are still okay the tie rod and other stuff.
the bushings are not crack.

Honestly I only feel it when I am travelling over 80 mph then I brake abruptly

Then steering wheel shake it doen''t happen when I am travelling around 55 to 75 mph.

thanks for the info

By the way I check my Rotor they are still probably 50% Good. the pads are still 75% good.

The car is 35,000 miles on my 2008 Lancer So I think it is time to change them anyways right?

I rather fix it now before the shaking damage something else.

do you think  both sides are shaking/moving ?

...or does it feel like one particular side.

do you feel any "pulsing" through the brake pedal ?

Nope just during high speed stop that my steering wheel started to shake.

I already checked my rotors and pads they are still thick after driving it for almost 2 weeks checking on the steering vibration.

I found the problem.

The way I step on my brakes that I only tap it NOT TOTALLY STEPPING ON IT when I brake. So, it leaves a unbalance brake pads or the brake pads are not totally smooth out OR it left a warp that causes the steering wheel to vibrate.

I read with other forums if the rotors and pads are still thick  an uneven groove on the pads and rotors that will make the steering wheel shakes.

What I did was to just step on the brakes all the way everytime I stop the car.
I will just avoid tapping on it and instead stepping on the brake pedals all the way.

That solve my problem
