Ok i have a chance to purchase a 95 GSX with 169k miles on it. Guy stated it needs a clutch. Is this vehicle worth 3k??

i''d stay away, i''d venture to say there is gonna be more than that wrong with it.  and the lack of interior and engine bay pics doesn''t instill much confidence either

wow car looks like a mess. Those rims look aweful without meat on the tires. Id say go look at it first and see the shape that its in. But if it runs decently that really isnt all that bad a price. As for any recepts on stuff that has been fixed on it (timing belt, tranny, engine, ect)

Well i just got back from looking at this vehicle. Interior is in good shape, Engine bay is pretty dressed up, minus oil from the valve cover. Looks to be just a valve cover gasket to me. Car comes with those rims pictured and the stockers. Guy cut price in half and i can officially say i am a pround owner of a 95 gsx for $1500.00  Going to pick the car up tommorow. Whats my first mod?? bigger turbo? FMIC? BOV??
Yea, im over the 420a slow''s. Now lets see what i can do with a 4g63.  lol im excited. I got an AWD turbo!!!

First things first change the timing belt, fuel and air filter, fix any oil leaks then maybe buy a turbo, bov, or fmic.  169k miles is A LOT.  Post more pics!!!

yea dude congrats on gettin a gsx... but im pretty weary of a gsx for 1500.  i have a feeling if the guy cut the price in half that he really wanted to get rid of it, there''s a good chance that something big is wrong with it... did you drive it?
