I put a new timing belt on my ''02 Galant yesterday.  I need to push the hydraulic adjuster back in, does anyone know how to do this?  It seems like it is hard to push back in.  Thanks.

Put it in a vise and compress it, then put a small allen wrench in (or something similar) to hold it compressed.  Then install it.
