The fuel pressure soleniod in my GST is bad. If that is bad will it effect the reading that the boost gauge sees? I have the gauge taped into the vaccum line that runs from the engine to the solenoid. Might be a stupid question but sometimes my readings vary from time to time and i didnt know if that could be a reason for that.

nahg it really shouldnt because the line you are reading from is running from the intake manifold to the sensor and should still be getting a good reading from the manifold even if the sensor isnt working.
