basically you lose power with a single clutch every time you switch gears. with dual clutch, the shift is seamless unless it jumps from 3rd to 5th rather than 3rd to 4th. since the odds are controlled by one clutch and the evens by another so each clutch does not have to worry about the gear up or the gear down since the other clutch takes care of it.
if they do introduce this, i''m sure it will be for the v6 or some kind of limited model with a slightly more powerful engine.
