The LED brightness change with stop signal of course (see the difference between 1st and 2nd pictures).

The brightness can be easily regulated by user in both modes (tail and stop).
The LED type is TLCS5110.

But the main problem - the disassembling. Need be very carefully - glued delicate plastic parts.

Our club member made a photo shots:

For disassembly you will need a sharp knife - to remove a glue line on borders.
Then insert a sharp knife into the split (starting from edge) and gently knock by knife for pull out the plastic cover.
If you make it too fast - the clear cover will be damaged.

You also can insert LEDs from back side w/o disassembling but very hard in this case make co-axial holes for LEDs.
I saw that - looks awful.

Hope that help.

Ok thanks :)

Anyway, I would really like to get info on the original LED`s on the Outlander taillights.

It seems to be 5 or 6 mm LED`s but anyone know the data on the LED`s? Like voltage and watt`s?

Thanks.

If anybody knows the original type LEDs - glad to hear it type.

One of our member who lives far from big cities made reverse: he changed ALL factory LEDs by new type.
It looks good if you can''t find the near-original LEDs.
