I was wanting 2 put an undercar kit on my eclipse and was wondering what everybody thought was better, Neon or LED's. (Does anybody know if red is legal or illegal in NE?)
Thanks

IMO Neon's are better. They may not be as bright and as many colors as some of those LED kits I have seen but they shine better. LED bulbs are focused beams while a neon glows.

I like the glow of the neons... not the concentrated beam of the L.E.D.s As long as the LEDs or neons are not blinking, they should not be illegal

LEDs will not break. LED stands for Light Emmiting Diode. LEDs are just tiny light bulbs that don't have a filament, so they won't burn out or get really hot. They are illuminated by the movement of electrons in a semiconductor material, and they last just as long as a standard transistor. The filament in the neons can break if you hit a bump too hard. Overall, LEDs are better because they won't go out, but neons look better

I would go with LEDs, just from what I have seen and heard, they seem to be the better buy. Thats my opinion.

hey i bought a LED Color Morphic light system from Best Buy about 2 months ago and just installed them last week. they look GREAT not to mention there are 20 different modes, and over 16 million different colors ( but honestly who would use all of those???? ) and a remote that will i can use from inside the car that is very handy to change settings, colors, and modes without having to stop or anything. now this is only a 6 stick system, i put 2 on the sides and one on the front and back, all i had to do was go to radio shack and buy 2 extended cords to reach from the side to the front/back. so im gonna have to say LED's but that's only because that's the only thing i've ever used.
