is this able to be done ...the car i have now is a 92 sl and i really like the newer lights can a swap be done ...or a conversion of some kind?

Sure I did it to my 92. 

Supplies:
headlights (most expensive)
OEM headlight pans (about 2-3 hundred)
OEM radiator support( about hundred)
welder
newer front bumper(ebay)
turn signals(ebay)
newer hood(ebay)

Ebay is the place to go for cheaper parts in some cases of coarse

is there a way to keep the 92 lights but make them so they dont have to pop up...like the top of them is gona and the custom lights sighn through like the newer ones do but its the old assembly or whatever has anybody ever done that or herd of anybody trying that i would like to give it a try...let me know what yall thing.

I think there is a lazy eye kit. The lazy eye kit keeps the lights half way. I seen a 92 3000gt with them they looked pretty cool. might want to check ebay Im not sure.

see i like that look...but i was thinking sexy like kinda along the lines of the 2000 Toyota cellica look but flat like mine already are...even lambo diablo like flat and glass ontop like the 99 but not 2 indevidual lights just one whole piece i donno how to describe it if i have to get it custom done then i will because im sure nobody has done this yetand i suck somethingawful in photo shop or id draw you something  ehhhh...ill look around for some plans or something.....
