I have a full set of these 17 X 8.5 Chrome O.E. 1994 Mitsubishi 3000 GT wheels. These wheels also came on 1995 and 96 hardtop retractable Spiders. Two are perfect, and two have one small Chrome bubble on each wheel. I have had them boxed up in storage for two years will be getting them out tonight or tomorrow tonight for a test fit on one of my nicer cars that needs new tires. I just learned how rare these wheels are and am, therefore, willing to sell this set Mitsubishi owners for $300 plus shipping.

I am in Arkansas, Zip is: 72002 If you find this post by internet search engine like I did, and don’t want to join this forum to reply to me, contact me at uplink2jesus@hotmail.com
I will wipe the dust off of them, take a few pictures, and post them in a couple of days.

Note: The picture is one I found online. I will post the pics of the actual wheel in a few days.

I dug the wheels out of storage last night and took pictures. The lighting was wrong, and I’ll be home before dark tonight and try again. The wheels were not as good looking as I remembered them to be. The best one has no chrome bubbling, but does have one small scuff mid-way on one of the five spokes and it has a small amount of curb rash, which includes one cosmetic nick in the outer part of the wheel lip.

The next best wheel has some curb rash and two areas where the chrome bubbles, but is so small that you have to be looking for it to see it. It’s nothing that would stand out on a daily driver, but you wouldn’t want it on a show car.

The other two wheels have road rash and noticeable bubbles in the chrome, but no peeling as of yet. However, I think I found one spot next to the wheel lip about the size of a fingernail that looks like a bubble may have come off and it may have been spot painted with chrome paint ( I’ll have to look at it again in the sunlight to be sure.) They look good enough that I would have kept them for my little station wagon if they had bolted up, but the center hole in the wheels was way too small and the offset was a little too deep. I can still use them with spacers, but on second thought, they look a little too extreme on that car (if I was a teenager, maybe I wouldn’t think so).

I’m cutting the price to $200 plus shipping.

If you have two wheels on your car with bubbling chrome, you could get these wheels and run the best four out of eight daily, and put autocross tires on the other four and keep them as racing wheels (or put snow tires on them if you live in the North and run them as winter wheels.)
