actually i've seen many problems with a remote start and manual cars. if you leave it in gear and remote start it there will be some serious consequences ( plowing into a wall, aother car). I mean if it's just you driving the car i'm sure you wont want anything to happen to the car but beware others, they can be completely oblivious and mess something up.

My idea is DON'T DO IT!!! There is an incident report (I am x Navy) where a sailor installed remote start in a 4 speed. He left it in gear and when he came back and started the car guess what happened? that's right down the road driverless goes the car. Well the sailor being the bright one that he is (Freakin surface fags NEVER got brains(Sorry I'm a submariner)) jumped out in front of the car to stop it. That's right folks HE RAN HIMSELF OVER WITH HIS OWN CAR!!! (How many people do you know that can claim THAT feat???). Moral of the story here?? DON'T INSTAL REMOTE START ON A STANDARD CAR!!!

Yeah my guess is he shouldve hit the disable start button to shut it down instead of jumping out in front of it lol.
My truck has remote start but it is an automatic and i love the feature.

Maybe he deserved it? Karma is a bitch.

Remote starters are a fact of life where I live. It doesn't take much to teach yourself to leave it in neutral.
