Im lookin at gettin one off ebay.

Is this a safe decision?

Here are some of them that are on there.

1. The GReddy Full Auto Timer $60
2. Apexi, Auto Timer for N/A and Turbo $72
3. HKS Type-0 Turbo Timer $90
4. HKS Type-1 Turbo Timer $95

I realize this could be an important factor in upgrading my turbo so I want to save money but I don't want one that wont protect my motor/turbo.

I have a greddy time and i got it for $90 w/ a harness at a stroe so that ebay deal for that one sounds pretty good. Also make sure you get the english directions other wise you will have to find directions online.

Did you do the wiring yourself? Was it hard? Have it done? How much?

I payed a guy $40 to install it. it tok him like 5 min to hook it up with the basic stuff but Like another hour to find english directions and a map of the ecu to get the extra goodies working.

why spend bills on extra weight...
just let your car run for a minute or 2-3...
