I bought one of those performance chips and according to the cheezy diagram it is supposed to be right behind the glove compartment. Well I took that area apart and all I saw was the blower for the A/C fan. I went to a couple of auto part stores to find a manual and no one seems to have one for a 2001 Galant. Can someone help me out!!!!

Check behind the center console. You may have to take out the center panels(where the shifter is) and the look. I know mitsubish had the ECU in that spot for a lot of their cars in the early and mid 90's, but maybe they changed it. If no luck finding it there, then go to The galant center. Those guys can tell you everything about everything about your car. The link is www.TheGalantCenter.com

its in the front center of your car you'll have to dig for it but its there pull the panels off your console from the leftside remove the 10 mm bolts repeat on the right side remove the metal plate and you got it
