Hey everyone,
I need some opinions. I just got a AEM short ram for my car. Very happy with it! I would like to keep upgrading but do not want a turbo.. I know... everyone says that is what you should upgrade but I just don't care for them and the price. I heard you can get cam gears, pulleys, spark plug wires, spark plugs, ect. Do these items work or just for show? Also, is there anything else I am forgetting? I don't want to spend thousands...just hundreds.
Let me know your opinions if you have the time....
Thanks

everthing counts it may not be a huge differance like a turbo but you will gain a little hp and better gas mileage with some items. the intake will add a little power as well as less air resistance meaning more air consuption throught the air filter and cai pipe. new plugs and wire are a good idea for teh fact that better plugs and wires can mean more spark is deliver causing a better faster burn of fuel which makes a little more power and better gas milage a coil msd for ex. can help with this in better delivery of spark to the wire blaster coil will cause muti spark causing more burn. cam gears and pulley kits can up power little and because the are lighter than stock causing less strain on the motor itself cams can up power but can cause a loss in gas milage considering they will open longer causing more gas intak with each cyliander. headers and exhaust will make flow better causing an up in gass milage. also some things you might want to look into is port and polish and a new intake w/throttlebody.
