does anyone here know if there are any doner cars that I could get a engine and tranny out of to put into my 97 eclipse gst. it is a five speed. Really just need the tranny but might just replace it all. Also wondering about modifying stock tranny, different final drive and or gear ratio, is it worth it and does it help? Any help would be great.

You can find donor cars in most junkyards.  Parts availability and pricing is another issue, but you should easily be able to find one somewhere.  I have a 97 GS-T donor in my garage right now.  Sorry, no tranny or motor in it.  Most parts either used in my car or sold.

Hey spyderman, do you still have the rear brake assembly from the GST?  Or the Front bumper, headlights, or sway bars?  Anything at all?

Do you have any interior(spelling?) parts left such as door panels, dash, seat, ect. And if so what color and is it leather or cloth?

I used the brake assembly on my car because my Spyder is a GS.  The body of the car is in bad shape because it was in a wreck(ran into the back of a car and another rear ended it).  Almost all the usable parts have been parted out except for a few minor things.  I'm about a week away from getting it picked up for scrap metal.  Sorry.  The interior was tan.  It is already sold though.  I am on the search for another car right now because a friend of mine wants to part out one for himself.  When he finds one and begins doing this I will put up a list of all the parts he has for sale and let you guys have first dibs at what he's got.
