Hello,

I'm the owner of a 1991 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX. I live in Gulfport, MS and I was fortunate enough to evacuate with my car before Hurricane Katrina unleashed her wrath. Anyway... on top of my my engine block there is a face plate (black) with Mitsubishi name and the diamond star logo on it. It is screwed down with four screws. The problem is during my last oil change the mechanic put his hand on it supporting the full weight of his body and cracked it. I would like to replace it. Also, does anyone know if Sylvania makes Silverstar lamps to replace my factory fog lamps? I currently have them in my regular headlamps.

Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated. It's tough finding good autoparts suppliers down here. The recent hurricane made matters much worse!

You can find the plastic piece usually pretty cheap on E-Bay. As for the silverstars I dunno....

Yeah dealer is gonna be pricey but it'll be brand new parts. Junkyards on the other hand... I dunno about your area but the junkyards around here seem to have a lack of engines in the DSMs. Not only that but the junkyard plastic pieces may be in rather shoddy shape.
