I have a 93 Mitsubishi Galant that I have been having problems with for the past couple of months. At first I had a hard time starting it when it was cold and I would have to turn the key to on and let it sit for about 5 min before it would start. I changed the spark plugs and distributor cap and rotor and it was still doing the same thing. I took off the fuel pressure regulator to check it and when I put it back on it would turn over like usual but not start at all. Before I could get it started after about 5 or 10 min but now I have been trying for 3 days and nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

Just a guess, but it kinda sounds like the fuel pump is going bad and not holding any pressure. Go get a pressure test done and what it says.

Check if you are getting a spark when you try cranking it over...

Ok...I have narrowed it down. I am getting fuel but just tested the spark plugs and I am not getting a spark.
