I am having a problem with water getting into my doors.  I have had this problem since I purchased the vehicle (demo with 80 miles).  When I roll down my windows, there is a terrible musty smell, like sitting water.  When I roll them back up they are wet.  I have had the car to the dealership several times and they can't seem to find anything wrong.  They tried replacing the seal and it didn't help.  Has anyone had a similar problem or any ideas?

Thanks!

there is suppost to be water allowed inside your doors... All doors on all cars on the planet are NOT water tight, nor are they meant to be.

however, the musty smell is an issue on the latest eclipse and galant.  there are new interior and exterior beltline moldings that will eliminate the moldy smell.

I believe that is the first thing they did.  The tech advised me that there was a new molding or seal and they put it on.  It didn't help at all, in fact, it has gotten worse.  Thanks anyway.  I appreciate your input.

well if water has gotten onto the fabric inside the door you could have that smell for a long time.... i recomend having the door taken apart and checking the fabrics inside the door... take it back to the dealership and tell them to fix the problem... no excuses tell them to get rid of the smell
