I'm putting 18 inch wheels on my '99 GS-T...Do I have to put a "big brake kit" on it or would I be fine running stock sized drilled rotors and calipers and stuff?

You'll be fine with completely stock brakes for a good while...the best upgrade for our cars is gsx front rotors and calipers...the're dual piston

That's what I was kinda thinkin'...My 18's are a light-weight aluminum racing wheel so I didn't think I would have too many problems with the stock sized rotors and the GSX calipers do sound like a good idea...The big brake kits are expensive as hell.

Ya they are... If your car was running around or more then 300hp then I would suggest getting them... But if your running just stock or even a little more you should be able to get away with the drilled and slotted.

i just got done putting the 99 gsx calipers in my 95 gs and they stop a hell of alot better especially with my power slotted roters made for the gsx,and the best part is is that the rotters are not even fully broken in yet..Ive had them in for about 2-3 days at the most, and what also makes them look fu**ing awesome is i painted them blood red, just to see them with the oz fl wheels......Josh
