has anyone done a turbo upgrade to the 3L SOHC V6? from what i understand it should work if you can get teh parts. it has 8.8:1 comp already, and all you would need is the turbo, some parts and ECU. i was thinking of this cause my duster has the base 3L engine with only 145hp, and i would like alittle more top end :-D. thanks

that has a different intake than mine, and i believe the turbo only runs off of half the exhaust, its positioned to run off the crossover pipe, so cyl 1,3,5 only. my intake is centered over teh engine so teh piping would be a different and harder to do smoothly

ORIGINAL: Prophet No. The 3000GT I believe is DOHC 6G72. It is the same motor as in a 3G Eclipse or 8G Galant.... http://www.****/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=displayimage&album=13&pos=0 That is a tearstone kit in a 6G72 3G Eclipse SOHC. i *think* the 3000GT came with a base model 6G72 SOHC 145hp engine and the 6G72TT vr4 engine. i know its not the same as the 3G v6 because of what i have highlighted in his first post. quote:
