I have a 1990 GSX, sorta.... The previous owner swaped in a differant moter (Unknown) Anyways, the throtel body isn't frome a 1990 GSX either, I'm guessing. (The IACV I bought that was for a 1990 GSX dosn't work) The shop said I need one that has a "Pig tail" on it for the plug....And quoted me $450 for the part, does anyone know what year throtel body this might be?

You need to find out what block you have in there currently. Need SOMETHING to go on other than the year the car body is.

you have a 1990 gsx... sorta? IT is a 4g63 I am assuming seeing how you ordered a part for a 1990 gsx and it didnt fit I am guessing that Chip(previous owner) put a 7 bolt in it. I bet my left nad that you need an IACV for a 92-99 gsx which is the 7 bolt motor years.

possibly, but does anyone know if the IACV is above the Idle Speed Stabilizer, which I think is on the bottom, if so, my IACV dosn't have the plug adaptor on it, it has the wires comming oout aroound to the back and plugged in by the firewall...

Thats what I assumed too b/c dsm disovled in 94 (when chrysler pulled out of mitsu) That would explain the different motor but dsmtalonawd corrected me and I did some reading and the last year for the 6 bolt was 92.

Interesting... Then I guess I'll DEFINATELY be keeping my 6 bolt '92 block... (Even though the kid said it's a block out of a '94 LOL he didn't tell the truth about a DAMN thing on my car LOL)
