I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. I recently changed my battery and now my radio is asking for a security code. I looked through my owners manuel and could not find one. Can anybody help????Thanks.

Satan will be able to get it for you. You'll likely have to go to the dealership and have them read the serial on the radio and crossreference it on a computer then they'll charge you an arm and a leg and then they'll give you your code. I recommend writing it down somewhere for next time Otherwise there is no way other than possibly a lucky guess to get the coe for the radio

when you buy the car they are supposed to give you 2 cards they look like credit cards the have the # on them and that is the only thing you will have personally that tells you the code other than going to Mitsu and haveing them look it up.

I entered 3 wrong codes, trying to unlock the radio. Now the radio says OFF and wont let me enter any other codes. Any suggestions??

Can try pulling the battery terminal for 30 seconds again see if that resets the radio. Other than that I really don't know. I specialize in the aftermarket stuff. (Aftermarket ALWAYS sounds better...)

I usually wait about two minutes to good and well know its discharged and the radio should ask for the code again.
