I have a 2002 Galant GTZ I was curious is it possible to make a Galant AWD, using parts from like a EVO or AWD Eclipse? I don't mind swapping out engines and such just wanted to know if anyone ever thought of this before?

Peace Out.

Thanx a lot Prophet it actually doesn't sound too bad. So what parts do you think would be compatible has it ever been done? Is there any articles on it? At least this gives me something to work on thanks again Prophet.

If your serious then you would neet to get parts from a JDM Galant since they come AWD and a very potent V6 twin turbo. I have only seen a 8G with a EVO VIII motor. Currently I do not know of a AWD Galant so no research to my knowledge has been done. If you do this your going to be a first that I know of....

Ohh and the 4 to 6 range was only to go AWD it would probably run you another 4 for the motor.

Well I'm seriously considering doing this, other then some of the problems like finding a reputable shop that actually knows what there doing and don't just destroy my car in the process. The engine in my Galant right now is starting to get tired. I figure if I'm going to do it just go for it. Thanks again Prophet.

Why Buy a WRX when i can make this work hopefully.

Peace Out.

Wow that would be epic. Living where I live AWD or 4WD is almost a must unless your ride is really light. I live in the middle of the colorado rocky mountians (no seriousely about 45-50 miles form any real city)... god I miss the city...
