I own a 2003 eclipse GS and I'm missing one of those silly little cover things under the headlight I think on some of them, thats where the foglights go (which i don't have so they're just plastic things), well i think i popped out when i was doing my intake , what are those called for one, and also how do i get them out? because it looks really tacky with 3 of the 4 there.

Thanks~!

I'd say either take the other 3 out or go to a junkyard either way LOL.

if you have an intake, i would suggest that you do NOT remove the ones infront of the intake unless you have a shield that will cover the intake from rain. a couple of engines have been hydrolocked b/c the owners removed those "slots" and then rain was able to get soak the filter.

just go to a junkyard and find a wrecked eclipse.

how do i get them off though, i'm not planning on taking it off of my car (because here in wisconsin it tends to snow once and awhile, actually a lot in the winter) but its bugging me cause it loooks so dopey, do they just pop on and off?

yup, they have tabs on the back. remove the headlight housing and look down the hole. you will see how to remove them.

Yeah there are tabs that hold them in place on the back. Fairly easy to take them out.

For a car to hydro lock the motor would have to suck a considerbal amount of water up.... Just getting the filter wet wont do it. Dunking the whole filter under water will. The only way to hydro lock the car would be to go into a puddle deep enough to submerge the filter. Rain just hitting the filter while driving wont do ****.
