I am looking for a new car and this one caught my eye. I have done a little research on it, but I think I need some comments from owners of this car. Anybody who has this car or a similar one, please post.

well, I'm getting it before I go off to college, so it would probably be a daily driver. I do, however, plan to supercharge or turbo it. By the way, supercharge or turbo?

super charge or turbo is personal preference.. Id go turbo it is easier to upgrade, However this may not be the car you want unless you plan on spending big $$$ to get there. I have had 2 of them they are nice but they have bad cornering and handleing. Check out Club3G. com and Neweclipse. org they can give you a whole entire run down of the car. those sites are based on that car 2000-2005 eclipse models so it should help

its a great car to drive but its a horrible car to mod. all of the mods are expensive, and the little mods like intake, headers, exhaust don't do much of anything for the car. the only way to make real power is to go turbo/supercharge which will run you atleast $5000 if not more. if you have that kind of money and want to have a turboed/supercharged 3G, then go ahead. but if you don't have the money, then i would suggest looking somewhere else.

and personally, i would go turbo with this kit... http://www.tearstone.com

good old tearstone... He has great stuff. he lives rather local and is a huge help to the local florida 3Gers out there. I would also recomend his kit. great quality and 100% safe for a daily driver on factory internals

Tearstone and rulez both work with donny regularly. Donny is fromerly A.A.I. Yes I have seen the race bolck pics and thread. Tearstone is like a turbo genius. very highly though of in the 3G world. I love both of there cars rulez and tears. florida is home of alot of turbo 3Gs both 4cyls and 6's it is the place to be if you want to go turbo on a 3G that is for sure
