Can a turbo be put on the 420A motor?...and if it can be done what are the chances of it blowing sky high?

there are alot of turbo kits well a couple out there designed to run on the stock 420 block. I would suggest building the block the bottom end at the least first that way you can beat on the car. The motor is good for boost but only in a small amount without further mods.We at Dreamspeed have boosted the 420a motor w/ nitrous oxide and had better results than the guys who went turbo. Safe and more power for less money. 600.00 compared to 4000.00 dollars is alot for the same result if you dont want to build the motor. You can safely run a 50 shot wet kit no problems evrey day on the stock motor.

i would say that you should go to (hahnracecraft.com) they have been building turbos for the 420a engines for a long time and they know what they are doing. thats were i am going to get a turbo for my 96 eclipse rs GOOD LUCK and tell me how it goes
