Hi is it possible to change the display in the montero from Fahrenheit to celsius??? any one??

I live in Iceland, and we use Celsius.

well fahrenheit isn't that hard to learn...


well i still havn't learned it...all i know is that 90 degrees and higher is hot and 60 degrees and lower is cold and everything in between is juuuuust right.

Burdy. Not sure on that one. Have you checked with the dealer or are they going to rape you in order to do it?

You'll need to be more specific on what year and model you have so i can look it up. Most may not be able to change it after all, but i can check for you. Have you tried the owners manual?

This is a Montero 2001 Limited. I have looked at the manual but there is nothing about these changes. I have changed the display from miles to km (The miles you can drive be for you are out of gas or patrol or what you call it). So I am thinking - it must be possible to change the F to C. The dealer in Iceland isn't too happy about all the Montero cars who are being shipped from USA to Iceland. The Montero is about 10.000 - 20.000 cheaper from the USA than from the Icelandic dealer. That is probably the explanation why he hasn’t been willing to help. And there you have it.
I would just like to thank you all for showing this an interest. Hopefully some of you will find something about this.
