I need your help. My son was driving his 95 eclipse gs when suddenly it  started running very rough, by time he got home it would barely run at all. The symptoms are: 1 Rough idle more like it is running out of gas and some slight surging. 2. No power at all on take off nor any while driving 3.wants to die if you leave in gear and siting at light or stop sign. My first thouhgt was the fuel filter or ignition system but would like to have some input from some of yopu guys that may have experienced some of these things yourself and try to save an expensive triop to the repair shop ( as I do not have one I trust here in Dallas) Thanx

Check for pressure in the fuel lines.  Check for any loose vacuum lines.  Clean injectors.

Guys, thank you for your responses,The car has 112,000 miles and had tune up last year but the fuel filter had not been changed. I am going to change it tonight and and see if it helps also he told me today that at highway speeds the rear end gets to rocking side to side on him when he veers to the left slightlyalmost like a very low tire, but only to the left not the right any Ideas on that issue
